Heck yeh Johnny J!! The Tubes have always been a fascination and they blew my mind when I saw them in concert at the Flint Center at DeAnza College in 1976. Never seen anything like it before or since. I saw them again at a private party in 1980 without all the hoopla and it wasn't the same, but they remain a high water mark class act for me as a unique (albeit underrated and somewhat obscure) group in the history of rock.
