Saturday Matinee Music Video: "Remember a Day"
SATURDAY MATINEE MUSIC VIDEO “Remember a Day” (a Pink Floyd song live-acoustic). I’ve always been fond of this song as it draws me into a murky but warm feeling of a past imagined or real. "Remember a Day" was written by Pink Floyd keyboardist Richard Wright, who rarely sang lead on any of their recordings, and (as a songwriter) was not as prolific as his bandmates.
Yet Wright’s material is endearing to fans. Sadly, he passed away in 2008, but his strategic and ethereal keyboard work remains an integral part of the Pink Floyd sonic legacy. My version of this song was video'd in our backyard in San Francisco. In this take, right as I sang the lines "blow away," a gust of wind blew a leaf into the screen.
