The verse rolls in a Lou Reed-ish swagger and Kinks-like kick of New Wave thrash from guitarist Phil Palmer (Eric Clapton, David Essex, Dire Straits, Wishbone Ash). Then the bridge flips to a reggae-fied groove, with harmonies by Kris with Dominic Bugatti and Frank Musker (who co-wrote Queen’s “Too Much Love Will Kill You” w/Brian May). This track was produced by Christopher Neil (a-ha, Celine Dion, Sheena Easton). Here’s hoping the Kris Ryder album gets a proper remaster-reissue—check out this newly made video montage:
