SATURDAY MATINEE MUSIC VIDEO “Even White Boys Get The Blues” – Peter Tork
… This song comes from a true story about a prominent Los Angeles attorney who'd been arrested for drunk driving. It was written by Tadg Galleran, keyboardist for Peter Tork’s band Shoe Suede Blues (Tadg's solo version was a hit on the blues chart in the 90s). Our performance is from a Monkees Convention in New Jersey 3-2-13. I played bass in a "Monkees House Band" with David "Loafy" Alexander, Rich Dart, Aviva Maloney (Monkees road band alumni) and guitarist Damian Fanelli to back Micky Dolenz and Peter Tork with a night of music. We were celebrating the dearly departed Davy Jones with guest appearances by Davy’s friends David Cassidy, Ron Dante (The Archies), and Deana Martin.
