ALBUM OF THE WEEK - ENTERTAINMENT FOR ALL OCCASIONS: I’m basically a rock’n ‘roll artist, but I also have eclectic interests that lead me to dabble in wide-ranging genres such as the Great American Songbook: Those well-crafted and timeless pop-jazz standards, hit songs from musicals, and Americana/cowboy songs that are lodged into the public conciousnesss. A few years back I started performing in assisted living homes, entertaining people with varying degrees of dementia and disability. That led me to ramp up my Great American Songbook, and I’ve grown fond of the set list I’ve developed. These songs bring healing and joy to the folks in these homes, and beyond that I’ve been invited to perform these songs in online concerts. Here’s a collection of these songs made with just acoustic guitar and vocal (recorded in California and Oregon). Thank you for listening and supporting.
