SUNDAY MATINEE MUSIC VIDEO: “Daydream Believer” live in Japan 2010 – Davy Jones

Japan always had favored nation status for The Monkees. They toured there in 1968 and 1989, then Dolenz Jones Boyce & Hart toured there in the 1970s, then Davy Jones (solo) went there in 1982-83, 1999, and 2010. Recordings were made of those appearances but, surprisingly, there is little audio documentation of Davy’s 2010 concerts. The audio of this track is from the Tokyo Billboard 7/6/10; the video is from a Florida concert in May 2010. Davy passed away in 2012 but Japan will always love him and The Monkees.
